This section provides information on help with your ACDS studies, and assistance with negotiating your way through the website.

ACDS Website Help

There are three menus available on each page to allow you to move around within the ACDS website:

  • The Main Menu
  • The Quick Menu
  • The Footer Menu

Here is a quick overview to help get you started and give you an idea of where to look if you get lost.

The Main Menu

Running horizontally across the top of each page is the main menu which allows you to navigate between the key ACDS resources and information sections that comprise this site. If you are currently viewing one of the key ACDS sections of the site the page you are currently on with be highlighted in orange. To move to a particular section of the site just click the link!

The Quick Menu

Located on the left margin of each page directly below the ACDS logo, the quick menu lets you jump to significant points within the page you are viewing or move directly to pages designed to help you resolve any problems you are having accessing the ACDS materials.

The Footer Menu

Located at the bottom of each page is the footer menu which exists primarily to facilitate access to our legal information pages, however it also allows you to access the ACDS website sitemap. The sitemap is a useful tool for locating pages that you have visited before.

Downloading the components

All of the components are downloadable in Portable Document Format (PDF) or Microsoft Word (doc) files. Simply click on the file format option of your choice to view and/or download the file.

File formats explained:

1. Microsoft Word Format (doc) – An editable version of the material in the very common Word format.   

2. Adobe Portable Document Format (pdf) – A good quality print format that is much smaller in file-size than the Word format and requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader that can be downloaded for free from www.adobe.com.
